2023 Joplin District Conventions & Assembly
The Nazarene Discipleship International, under Rev. Dustin Ledford, has planned an incredible day of learning for all of us. In this newsletter you will find their flyer, loaded with information for you. Pastors, bring your whole church to this event! Bring every leader you have in the Church. Bring every potential leader that is in the Church. Come on! Let’s all go!
Then on Tuesday, Rev. Alison Johnson has an inspirational morning filled to the brim with high intensity learning. Don’t miss it, remember what happened last year?
On Saturday, August 5, is our Youth Convention, again a day loaded with all types of workshops. Rhonda and I are doing workshops on ‘Gender Identity’, so we know there will be great learning times for all.
Sandwiched in between all of this is the District Assembly. Oh my, wait till you hear the report of what has happened across the district! Get ready to stand and celebrate what God has done.
Monday morning will be the business of the district. Voting for District Advisory Board members, MNU Trustees, and a vote on the District Superintendent!
Monday afternoon, Cris Zimmermann from Germany will be with us to challenge us to take the Church outside the walls. You better hang on for those sessions!
Then we will be ordaining an entire group of candidates Monday night in a huge celebration.
