I didn’t think she planned it that way, but she lost her Father in a tragic murder. Her Mother moved her to a new place for a fresh start. A marriage, a daughter, then a husband who went into depression and used every cent of cash they had until he finally told her “if you don’t divorce me, I will sell the house out from underneath you.” So she divorced him and started a life with a lot of questions. Another failed marriage and finally she had no where else to go but back to God. I would like to say life has been perfect since, but she has had her rough moments and down days. Today, she is back to doing the thing she loves to do and life’s storms have calmed down. Teresa has a brand new lease on life because of Jesus.

         There are ‘Teresas’ all around you. When is the last time you invited one over for a cake or took a cake to them? Maybe it will be a coffee, I don’t know, but those folks who have a deep emptiness are all around you. Why not take a fresh look with ‘new eyes’ and ask, “The Lord of the Harvest”, who can I make a difference in?
