Blooming trees and spring flowers…

       Without the showers, there will be no flowers. In order to have flowers, you have to have showers.

       In life we like shiny days and everything to go well, but what do we do when everything doesn’t go our way? How do we handle those difficult moments and difficult people? Do those moments and people cause us to choose ‘the better way’?

       Those are all reflective questions for us to think about, aren’t they?

       I believe the world is watching our lives and they watch how we handle the good days, but they really watch to see how we handle the bad days. One author spoke about how beautiful the view is from the mountain top but in order to get to the mountain top, you have to travel through the valley. People are watching to see how we handle the valleys. I appreciate these words that have been echoed through time for us, ‘in the valley, He restores my soul.’

       I hope for you that people will see Jesus in you whether you are on the mountain top or the valley or if it’s raining or the sun is shining.

M25 is a USA/Canada Regional quadrennial Nazarene conference focused entirely on evangelism and the regional Cycle of Resurgence: Bringing People to Jesus vision. This conference is intended to be the kick-off for learning, networking, and a call to action for Bringing People to Jesus in 2025. The agenda will include plenary speakers, break-out workshops, affinity group meetings, and corporate worship time. In short, this conference is for connecting and growing. Participants will leave this conference encouraged, equipped, empowered, and challenged to engage in news ways to bring people to Jesus.
