It won’t be long and grass will turn green, flowers will blossom, and the trees will bud and new life will be everywhere. God is always in the business of making the “new”. Maybe its an old life that He has made new by its transforming power. Maybe it’s a marriage that has fallen apart and had no ‘newness’ left in it, yet by the touch of the Master’s hand, that marriage is renewed and re-launched to better days. Or maybe its something in your church that needs a new touch. Could be a Sunday School class, or Small group, or a Discipleship class or a building, or a yard or… You fill it in.
God may be asking you to do something new this year. Maybe its to plant a new church, maybe its start a new Sunday School or small group, or just get involved in ministry. Whatever God is asking you to do, I hope you will do it out of faith and obedience.
Go ahead and plant that new tree. Someone has to plant it now, for the tomorrows.
