Your Community Brief from Jones High School
Friday, August 4, 2017 (Special Issue: Summer Break #5)
|
Starting with this weekend's sales tax holiday from the Florida Department of Revenue, there are several important events (see below) that will be of help to our Tigers and their families prior to the start of school on Monday, August 14 -
2017-2018 school calendar. I would also like to remind the Jones community that in addition to our weekly
Tiger's Roar! issues, we keep the very latest school-related news posted on our
new website and social media platforms. I encourage our community members to take a quick moment and visit some of those other excellent communication outlets as they are continuously updated.
Please note that the schedule you see on
ProgressBook is not necessarily final. Our Guidance Counselors are working diligently to make sure students are placed properly, and changes are still being made.
Schedule Change Request
Have a wonderful weekend. We hope to see many of you tomorrow for laptop checkout!
Sincerely,
Allison Kirby
Principal

We would like to thank the
Orlando World Center Marriott for hosting our Leadership Team Retreat on July 21. Thank you for making us feel special. You have been an invaluable Partner in Education to Jones High School for the last 14 years!
Our leadership team was treated like royalty by Orlando World Center Marriott's Event Manager Dennis Richardson, CMP and Banquet Server Lupe.
Nothing like a good old fashioned, "Goooooo Tigers!" to end a planning session!
