Reminder from the Friends of the Indian King Tavern

Dear Friends,

We would love to see you at our Friday evening open houses this month. It's our holiday tradition and we hope it becomes part of yours.

Tomorrow night, Friday, Dec. 5, the tavern is open from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Magician Levram the Great will perform his crowd-pleasing, family-friendly show at 7:30 p.m. It's not to be missed!

The tavern is beautifully decorated  with historically accurate items.

The tavern will be open on Friday, Dec. 12 and 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. And as always, the admission to the tavern is free.

Thank you,

Your Friends at the Indian King Tavern Museum

April 18: Open House from 1 to 4 p.m.

May 16: Fundraiser, most likely a beer tasting.

Best Wishes to Garry Stone

The Indian King Tavern Board Members will miss the irreplaceable Garry Stone, an advocate, historian and curator at the Tavern.

Garry is retiring at the end of this year. A valuable state employee, Garry  spearheaded the "big dig" at the Indian King Tavern over the summer and  organized the live skirmish re-enactments on Kings Highway for the last two summers

Garry's work behind the scenes often went unnoticed but was integral to the success and longevity of our beloved Tavern.

Best of luck and we wish you the best of everything!!!
