“Honor to the Soldier, and Sailor everywhere, who bravely bears his country’s cause. Honor also to the citizen who cares for his brother in the field, and serves, as best he can, the same cause—honor to him, less only than to him, who braves, for the common good, the storms of heaven and the storms of battle.” -- Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Day: Remember and Honor
NAHCC members and friends,
Memorial Day* is the time to reconnect with the history of our nation by honoring those who gave their lives for the freedoms and ideals we all care for and enjoy.
More than a million American service members, men and women of valor, have died in military service since the Civil War began in 1861.
Representing all ethnic backgrounds, each person who died at war was a loved one to us, including Americans of Hispanic heritage who have fought in all of America's major military operations.

Today, we encourage you to stop what you are doing at 3 pm* to remember with gratitude all those who offered the ultimate sacrifice**.
