Tina will be addressing two of the many ways that businesses can benefit from increasing kindness in the workplace and the community. Research proves that
when people benefit from or witness acts of kindness, they "pay it forward." They do acts of kindness for others who were not originally involved, and it multiples rapidly. Tina will help you imagine the possibilities:
- A kinder workplace leads to happier employees as it spreads, which leads to more engaged employees which leads to increased productivity. Kinder employees will be better with difficult customers, increasing their customer base and positive PR.
- Engaging with or supporting the community outside of their business environment is an act of kindness, one with positive repercussions for both.
Tina will go over the Action Steps for Kindness in an interactive format and discuss which ones would best fit your businesses and the goals of the Chamber, as well as how to implement them.
