SUPERHEROES
Spring 2012 jumpstART alumni exhibition

jumpstART, located at CUE Art Foundation in Chelsea and in partnership with the Joan Mitchell Foundation, is a program offered to high school students throughout New York City who demonstrate a strong interest in the arts. Throughout the program, students create work around a selected theme while simultaneously learning the skills needed to curate their own group exhibition. Students have learned how to conceive of, create, and mount a group exhibition from start to finish. Exhibiting artists include: Jade Alcide, Shani Allen, Immanuel Barnett, Tricia Browne, Christopher Gonzalez, Joseph Gonzalez, Earl Grant, Cory Levy, Niko Lowery, Malikah Mahone, Crisitan Negroni, Megan Pasko, Cree Payton, Anis Pimentel, Sada Spence, Aromal Sunil, and Winnie Xu.

Saturday Studios Art Education Program
Closing reception: Saturday, June 2, 1-4pm

CUE is pleased to host an exhibition of artworks by 300 New York City students who have participated in CUE's ARTworks Program and the Joan Mitchell Foundation's Saturday Studios Art Education Program. This year, the young artists explored the theme of perspective and its many interpretations.
