The Alliance’s Hopegivers Course is designed to provide a basic foundation in the science of hope for non-profit and business leaders. Higher hope employees do better at work. Higher hope leaders succeed professionally at much higher rates than lower hope or fear-based leaders. How can you become a hope-centered leader? How can you coach and nurture hope into the lives of trauma survivors? How can you increase your own wellbeing as you face adversity in life?
Based on our bestselling book, Hope Rising: How the Science of HOPE Can Change Your life, this course, limited to only 40 attendees, will provide a 2.5 day practical, hands-on learning and relationship building experience with the core Culture Team (Casey Gwinn, Gael Strack, Yesenia Aceves, Jamal Stroud, Catherine Johnson, and Erica Yamaguchi) as well as Dr. Ashley Cross from HOPE 585 in Rochester, New York.
We will mix practical sessions, with experiential experiences at one of the most beautiful outdoor settings in the country, High Peak Camp, at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. Our goal is to equip our attendees in nurturing hope and well-being in your own lives and the lives of those you work with professionally. We anticipate a diverse group of advocates, nonprofit agency and business leaders, Family Justice Center directors, social workers, human resource professionals, law enforcement officers, doctors, nurses, attorneys, and others interested in learning and applying the science of hope in their professional and personal lives. In the evenings we will spend time at the Alliance’s lodge, H7 at Hope Mountain in nearby Allenspark, CO.
This will be a self-care and hope coaching retreat like no other you have ever experienced!
Registration is limited to only 40 attendees and then the Alliance will create a waiting list. Applications are subject to acceptance by the Alliance Conference Team. You will be notified of acceptance within ten days of submission of your application. Apply today!
