Dear Orange County Community,

For over 15 years, the High School Inc. Academies Foundation has been on a relentless mission: to empower youth and strengthen communities through education and business partnerships. Our unwavering vision is clear—to mold high school students into the architects of tomorrow's workforce, cultivating lifelong learners and future leaders poised to make a positive impact on the world. Simultaneously, we stand committed to bolstering businesses with a future-ready workforce, driving productivity, increasing profitability, fostering job growth, and instilling a deep sense of pride in local communities.

In collaboration with the Santa Ana Unified School District and the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, High School Inc. consistently realizes its mission, elevating student achievement each year. Through innovative frameworks like Smaller Learning Communities, Integrated Instruction, Project-Based Learning, Business Standard of Competencies, industry competitions infusion, and the mentorship of community business leaders, we are reshaping education.

Currently, the High School Inc. Academies Foundation is helping to support the completion of a cutting-edge Culinary Arts/Automotive Academies building at Valley High School. This state-of-the-art facility is more than bricks and mortar; it is a gateway to the future. Endowed with the latest technologies and equipped with world-class resources, the building mirrors the sophistication of high-end restaurant kitchens and automotive maintenance facilities. This expansive expansion not only brings forth technological prowess but also widens our capacity to serve more students.

The construction of this facility, funded by the Santa Ana School District at $18 million, encountered unexpected hurdles. The ripple effects of the COVID crisis, from limited stock to supply chain disruptions, inflated costs beyond the initial projections, leaving a $2 million shortfall. In the face of this challenge, the Thompson Foundation stepped forward with a generous $500,000 matching grant. Their commitment extends beyond financial support, as they have actively contributed insights gained from successful implementations in other schools, ensuring the project's triumph.

We invite you to be part of this transformative journey as we continue to raise the $500,000 matching grant. Your contributions, no matter the size, resonate with our shared mission of empowering youth and fortifying communities through education. Your commitment ensures that our students are not just prepared for the future; they are equipped to construct it.

Join us in an exuberant celebration of the new Career Technical Education (CTE) Culinary and Automotive facilities at Valley High School. Your presence and support are catalysts for change, shaping a future where education meets innovation.

Together, let's ignite the spark that fuels the aspirations of our students and propels our community towards greatness. See you there!
