He is the president of 9Marks Ministries and has taught at a number of seminaries. Dr. Dever has authored several books and articles, most recently, Discipling, The Compelling Community and The Church: The Gospel Made Visible. Earlier books include What is a Healthy Church?, The Gospel and Personal Evangelism, Nine Marks of a Healthy Church, The Deliberate Church, Promises Kept: The Message of the New Testament, and Promises Made: The Message of the Old TestamentPraiseFactory). They have two adult children.

Join us in welcoming Mark Dever to Christ Covenant!
Stop by the Faithful Bookstore hosted by 10 of Those
10 of Those vision is to help local churches and Christian organizations by providing quality Christian resources at prices they can afford. They provide only those resources which are consistent with the Word of God as we understand it. 10 of Those is a C corporation. However, in many ways they function like a non–profit organization (i.e. they work hard to use any profits to distribute resources across the world and to support ministries that would hold to their Basis of Faith). People often ask how they are able to sell resources so cheaply compared to other outlets. The simple answer is twofold: 10 of Those buy stock in bulk to get better prices and pass that onto the customer. They are also passionate about getting more resources out there and used, so instead of making lots of money on each item they discount as much as possible.

We hope you take time to browse this great bookstore in our main lobby throughout the weekend!
Faithful Conference Video Information
Each session of the Faithful Conference is being recorded and will be available at the end of the week on our website and on faithfulconference.org. We will livestream each session. If you miss a session, we hope you will take time to watch the session you missed later in the week.
Look for Guests this Weekend
We could have a lot of guests visiting with us this weekend for the Faithful Conference. If you meet a guest this weekend, we encourage you to bring them by our guest kiosks in either the main or north lobby. We have a free gift for them and would like to meet them! We have guest cards located in the pews in the sanctuary they can fill out and place in the offering. Also, if they do not have a Bible, invite them to take a Bible from one of the pews to take home with them.
A New Psalm of the Month - Psalm 29
Our new psalm of the month is Psalm 29. You can pick up a copy of the introduction and the music (with chords for instrumentalists) in the north, south and main lobbies this Sunday. To help you learn the song, you can listen by either clicking here or on the graphic below. We will be singing this Psalm this Sunday morning during worship.

When we sing the psalms, we are singing songs that Jesus sang, songs that were about Jesus, and songs that point to Jesus. Our hope is to have a steady diet of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs at Christ Covenant. To that end for eight or nine months of the year we will try to highlight a psalm, a hymn, or another song during seasons like Advent or Easter. You are welcome to collect these psalms as a personal devotional resource or use them in small groups as many do with the bulletin.
Combined Sunday School This Sunday, November 13
During the Faithful Conference all middle and high school and adults will gather for a combined Sunday School in the sanctuary with Pastor Mark Dever. Don’t miss this great Sunday School on Sunday, November 13, beginning at 9:00 am.

John and Angela Condie, who have been career missionaries in Northern Pakistan and are moving toward retirement, will share with us what ministry in a Muslim country looks like and the significance of Pakistan in the Muslim world. They have also had extensive experience in ministering in Afghanistan. Light refreshments will be provided. No RSVP is needed.
Monthly Day of Prayer
