Join us Friday Night @ 7:00 pm for the $25,000 Grand Prix at Fox Lea Farm in Venice, FL. "Show Jumping Under The Stars"
All admission proceeds for January 27th will benefit the Venice High School Chorus. The Venice High School Chorus will be performing the National Anthem, presenting the Colors, and also a selection of their current performance songs.
Admission is $5.00 collected at the entrance gate, parking is free! Follow signs for parking...comfortable walking shoes are suggested.
Gates open to the public at 5:00 pm, open course walk at 6:00 PM (walk the path of the course the horses will jump with the riders & take pictures next to jumps close to 5ft tall, bring your cameras!), & first horse on course at 7:00PM.

Jason has been involved with horses and horse shows for over twenty years. He and his wife Julie operate Oakridge Farms, a horse breeding and training farm in Florida. Breeding warmblood show horses, they produced numerous top quality offspring. Rocketman, a Grand Prix jumper is one of those offspring. Horse shows, particularly the Winter Equestrian Festival, were a crucial part of the success of that operation. Jason has a great depth of hands on experience from not only the competitor's point of view, but as an owner, groom and all around horseman.
He started announcing horse shows at the Plantation Acres Saddle Club, doing their local schooling hunter/jumper shows. This became a regular occurrence and since 2000, Jason's announcing has grown to include other shows and disciplines. Thanks to Monica Meyers Fitzgerald, Jason was introduced to the world of dressage as an announcer in Palm Beach. He has a great speaking voice, is reliable and low maintenance.
Jason has announced both breed and performance shows. He has announced at Wellington Classic Dressage, Dressage at Devon, World Dressage Masters, Fox Lea Farms Dressage and Hunter/Jumper shows, Gold Coast Dressage Association, Houston Dressage and Florida 4H finals. Jason was the announcer for The Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse (PRE) Celebration in Las Vegas in 2011. Jason announced the equestrian portion of the 2014 Modern Pentathlon in Sarasota-Bradenton and also the National side of the 2014 USDF Region 3 Dressage Championship & Wellington Classic at Global Dressage. He was honored to be featured in
World Dressage News, and in January of 2015 he had the opportunity to announce the first USEF recognized Western Dressage show, judged by Jodi Ely (L). Jason was honored to announce The Challenge of the Americas in March at the International Polo Club.
