This program is designed for a diverse group of up to 15 participants, representing a range of experiences, backgrounds, and accessibility needs. We're looking for individuals who share a commitment to championing systemic change for disability rights.
This cohort helps you develop leadership and advocacy skills through:
- Peer-guided workshops that explore different types of advocacy, including self, collective, peer, and systemic;
- Storytelling exercises to inspire action in the disability space; and
- Access to a network of people and resources for personal and collective advocacy.
Cohort 3 combines weekly Zoom sessions—alternating between small group learning team meetings and large group sessions—with self-paced learning materials. Zoom sessions are held at 12 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning August 14, 2024 and concluding with a final story sharing and graduation session on October 23, 2024.
