Have Extra Fun Watching the Golden Globes with Cinema Friends and Family!

How it works:

The Cinema Arts Centre will host three FREE Watch Parties on Zoom, one for The Golden Globes, one for The SAG Awards, and one for The Oscars. Watch the awards shows on your own TV, and join the Watch Parties simultaneously on your phone or device in order to enjoy with your Cinema friends, and participate in great activities throughout the night, like trivia, bingo, and ballot contests. The Golden Globes Watch Party is THIS SUNDAY! CLICK HERE for more info and to register.

Anyone can participate in our Watch Parties for FREE. There are also ways to support the Cinema financially. According to your ability, you can give whatever feels right for you to help us continue to present our virtual programs and prepare for the reopening of our facility once it is safer to do so.

Thanks so much to our generous awards season sponsors:

Support two Long Island filmmakers by backing the Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming film

Supporting our community, both here on Long Island and in our wider arthouse cinema community, is essential to our mission at the Cinema Arts Centre. We are proud to be able to support independent filmmakers following their dreams of creating unique and important works of art.

Take a moment to check out a Kickstarter created by two local filmmakers to fund the creation of their new film.

A Thousand Cars At Night Looks Like A Moving Train is a fantastical and irreverent portrayal of a homeless man, a chronic daydreamer, who stumbles upon an eccentric self-help podcast that guides him on his odyssey to become a fisherman. The film is a combination of live-action realism seamlessly combined with abstracted animation.

The Cinema Arts Centre is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. The mission of the Cinema Arts Centre is to bring the best in cinematic artistry to Long Island, and use the power of film to expand the awareness and consciousness of our community.
