Distinguished Gentleman's Ride 2024

The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is the largest fundraiser ride that MOD hosts each year, and it's coming up soon on Sunday, May 19th!

The ride raises money for men's physical and mental health causes in association with the Movember Foundation.

Registration link in the message below!

Motorcycles of Dulles brings you a message directly from the organizers of this incredible ride:

Dear Gentlefolk,

With only 3 weeks left before we ride side by side for such an important cause, I wanted to make sure everyone is up to speed on this year's ride.  Currently we are sitting at 57 riders and over $12K raised, and our goal is to have more riders than last year and raise at least $50,000.

We want to address a few important questions that have come up following last years event:

Can I participate in the ride if I haven't made the $20 minimum donation?

We have added a minimum donation of $20 to participate so we can know that riders are there to support the cause, not just looking for something to do. We will also be checking in each rider in the morning, and nobody will be permitted to ride without a valid registration. This will help keep the ride better organized, more focused, and better suited for its charitable goals.

Can I participate in the ride if my motorcycle doesn't not fit the Style Guide requirements?

Yes, although, DGR is about the classic styled motorcycling community, consisting of motorcycles that are either classic in age or in style. If you don't have a motorcycle that fits within the DGR Style Guide, & you cannot borrow or rent a suitable motorcycle, you can still join the ride and support the cause, but please be aware that we'll be grouping riders by style.

There was a little bit of ungentlemanly riding at the 2023 DGR. Will that be addressed?

There were concerns about a couple of disruptive riders in the 2023 DGR, but rest assured this will not be a problem this year. We've told the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office about our route, and we're holding ourselves and our riders to a very high standard. Please be on your best behavior - no laws will be broken, no rules will be bent. The DGR is a very prosocial and family friendly event intended to spread the fun of motorcycling and make people smile.

The question nobody asked: What's in it for me?

Besides a day of fun with likeminded riders, awesome photo opportunities, and a great story? Not only is the minimum donation a meaningful step toward a worthy goal, it also enters you into a drawing that we will hold at Lost Barrel Brewery.

In addition to the amazing prizes from DGR & our generous global sponsors, the Leesburg DGR will have prizes for Best Bike & Best Dressed (male/female) plus giveaways from our very supportive local partners:

Shoes Cup & Cork, King Street Oyster Bar, Studio One Printing, Crooked Run Brewery & Lark Brewery.

So if you haven't registered, please do by going directly to the Leesburg Ride page HERE!

We look forward to crushing our goal of $50,000 and cracking into the Top 20 of over 900 cities globally!

Hope to see you all on Sunday, May 19th!
