RAPTURE, BLISTER, BURN
Smart & Scathing Play by Gina Gionfriddo
FEBRUARY 7- MARCH 4  (Tobye Studio Exclusive)
Wednesdays & Thursdays 7:30pm, Fridays & Saturdays 8:00pm, Sundays 2:00pm

After grad school, Catherine and Gwen chose opposite paths. Catherine built a career as a rockstar academic, while Gwen built a home with her husband and children. Decades later, unfulfilled in contrasting ways, each woman covets the other's life, commencing a dangerous game of musical chairs - the prize being Gwen's husband. With searing insight and trademark wit, this comedy is an unflinching look at gender politics in the wake of 20th-century feminist ideals. Contains adult subject matter

Tickets $40 adults, $35 subscribers, $10 students & educators

Comprised of an all-female cast, the production provides a unique and exciting twist on Shakespeare, which was traditionally performed with only male performers. Adding to the themes of disguises and facades, the production will integrate traditional masques from the Italian Commedia Dell'arte with modern slapstick humor.
