Newton Community Pride is excited to announce that we have partnered with several local organizations to bring FREE community events to the city of Newton to celebrate Black History Month.

Please join NCP and the New Art Center for the following two FREE events celebrating INTERCESSION, an exhibit highlighting local African-American photographers who use the power of light in their work to create meaning.

Panel Discussion on American Fiction

NCP has partnered with the West Newton Cinema Foundation to present a FREE and informative panel discussion focusing on the themes of the five-time Oscar-nominated film, American Fiction. The expert panelists will include Callie Crossley, renowned for her work in radio, television, and film, as well as Dr. Keith Maddox, Professor of Psychology and the Director of Tuft’s University Psychology Lab. Other panelists may be added.
