Dear Friends in Christ,

As we begin this new year, and to follow up on our rich conversation at the 2023 Fall Clergy Conference, I would like to explore additional opportunities to strengthen and deepen our connection as clergy across the diocese. As your bishop, I am committed to being open and available to each of you, walking alongside you as you serve your congregations. With all of this in mind, I will offer two new ways to make myself even more available to you in 2024. Of course, as always, you can schedule at other times to meet with me throughout the year.

Monthly Zoom for Clergy Check-In

All clergy are invited to join on Zoom for a check-in chat at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 18. This is an informal Zoom meeting intended for any and all clergy in the diocese to have time to chat with me.

Schedule-an-Hour Day

I am carving out time about once a month for one-on-one meetings with clergy, either by Zoom or in person, whichever works best for you. The first Schedule-an-Hour day is Wednesday, January 31.

I intend these meetings to give us space to talk about anything you may need my input for, whether it may be a new ministry initiative, internal church issues, or an idea that you have in mind.
