ASIRT is participating in a briefing urging the U.S. Government to take greater action for global road safety. The panel will address the responsibility of organizations that send employees, volunteers, and visitors overseas. The goals of the briefing are to raise awareness about road safety and increase membership in the Global Road Safety Caucus through a discussion about the public health challenge posed by road crashes.

ASIRT was instrumental in founding the Congressional Caucus on Global Road Safety in 2004. This upcoming briefing will be conducted for Congressional leaders and their constituents.
