The ideal candidate will have an understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication and organizational skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including processing payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving customer inquiries. Also, would be expected to answer phone calls and enter customer orders as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Process all incoming payments, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
• Generate and send out invoices to customers
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and information
• Monitor and manage customer aging reports to ensure timely payment and follow up on any past due accounts
• Communicate with customers regarding account balances, payment issues, and other inquiries
• Work collaboratively with other departments, including sales and customer service, to resolve customer issues and ensure a positive customer experience
• Perform other duties as assigned
