The Ray of Hope Christian Church is currently seeking a part-time Minister to Men. The Minister to Men is responsible for developing and promoting a creative and comprehensive ministry to the men of the Ray of Hope Christian Church which incorporates fellowship, worship, discipleship, evangelism, mission and outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement an annual program for men which will include, but not be limited to, a yearly retreat, worship services and other opportunities to promote spiritual and physical wholeness for men.

  • Oversee a council of men who will help plan and implement an annual calendar of ministry programs and events for the men of the Ray and surrounding community.

  • Recruitment and training of volunteers to serve in all facets of the Men's Ministry and the overall life of the church.

  • Other duties related to the Men's Ministry as assigned by the Senior Pastor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • College degree from an accredited university. (B.S. or B.A.)
  • Minimum of (3) years of practical experience working in men's ministry.
  • A deep commitment to Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree (Divinity, Theology, Christian Education) or preparing for ministry at an accredited seminary.

  • Must be dependable and punctual for worship services, events and meetings.
  • Must possess an enthusiastic and outgoing personality with leadership skills and good judgment.
  • Must exhibit exemplary personal conduct and integrity.
  • Must have strong organization/planning skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, social media programs and online technology.
