December Bracelet Workshop |

Grove Gallery, 325A Grove St. East Lansing, MI 48823 I will be teaching 2 count peyote stitch in this workshop geared towards beginner's beadweaving to make a bracelet with a button-and-loop closure. Materials provided will be needle, thread. Beads and closure options will be available for purchase, or you may bring your own. I will provide a materials list after you have signed up for the class. This class is to jump-start you into beadweaving while still being able to make a finished bracelet at a reasonable rate of time.
(Dynamite seed beads with large faux pearl closure)
$50 per person, must be signed up by December 7th.
Minimum 2 people, Max 8.
You may pay with cash, check or credit card. Payment must be in advance (see above dates). |
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are looking forward to spending time with your loved ones coming into the holidays. I recently have a new baby niece and my brother in law has gotten engaged so there's new additions to our gatherings! "Uprooted 1" nearly done! | |
Along with my new jewelry pieces for holiday shows, I have been taking some time to work on my larger grant pieces. I got the last hole drilled for "Uprooted 1" and am doing a lot of detail sanding before I begin to set the beaded pieces into the rose root. I love the way it's turning out!
The exhibit for this project will be opening at Grove Gallery in March of 2013. |

Grove Gallery Winter Glow & First Sunday Gallery Walk
The first weekend in December is busy at Grove Gallery. We'll have some replenishment coming in and ornament making!
Saturday is Winter Glow in downtown East Lansing and the kids can make ornaments with Candy.
Sunday is the Gallery Walk and we'll have light snacks and refreshments for coming in and visiting the Gallery. I have had a blend of red/purple/gold pieces in my jewelry case, but I'm hoping to change it over to a black/green/gold mix at the end of the week. We'll see what's left after the Boutique Show though, there's no telling what will be snatched up.
This year we have 22 guest artists along with our Gallery Members to gear up for the Holidays!
