The latest news from the Virginia Department of Transportation on plans to improve Route 7.
The Virginia Department of Transportation is planning improvements to almost seven miles of Route 7 between Reston Avenue and Jarrett Valley Drive, including new lanes, intersection improvements, and shared-use paths.

The goal: Decrease congestion, increase capacity, improve safety, and expand mobility for cyclists and pedestrians.

Schedule a visit to your HOA

Please note the open houses originally scheduled for January 8 and 9 in McLean  have been cancelled.
We are hearing your feedback—direct meetings with more than twenty homeowners associations along the corridor have led to a more focused and effective discussion with you and your neighbors on elements of the proposed project near your neighborhood.

Throughout January, the team is meeting with the following groups:

Amberwoods
Bradley Oaks
Lockmeade
Locust Hill
Great Falls Crossing
Shouse Village
Towlston Meadow

Check with your HOA on dates and details if you are interested in attending.
Contact the project team   to schedule a meeting and provide input toward the project's design.
