In all of recorded history, two lessons on "the beginning" (Genesis 1:1) stand out among all others. The first, recorded in the Pearl of Great Price, was sort of like “Take Your Child to Work Day” when a child spends one day at work with a parent to learn what they do. Moses was the child. Heavenly Father was the parent. Moses was “transfigured before him” and the lesson was delivered with stunning effects.

If you can’t be with Moses on the mountaintop, listening to Joseph in the open air would be the next best thing. Imagine how his teachings, read in light of the revelation to Moses in the Pearl of Great Price, could enhance one’s study of the Old Testament...

Curtis, Jr., shared his testimony of “this wonderful gospel and of its remarkable history” at the Wilford Woodruff Papers Foundation Devotional held October 10, 2021. He testified, “The more ... I read, the more I experience, the stronger my testimony grows to see this kingdom of God, what has come before us, and how it is rolling.... this is God’s work on earth.”

Lexie Kay Rynearson

Communications Director

Lexie Kay Rynearson graduated from Southern Utah University with a bachelors and masters degree. She has taught Pre K - Adults for over 15 years, including mentoring and presenting throughout Utah. After running several for-profit companies and non-profit organizations, she now serves on two non-profit boards. Lexie is enthusiastic about the gospel of Jesus Christ and temple work. She is excited to use her education and experiences to progress the efforts of the Wilford Woodruff Papers Project and inspire others to learn more about the project and ultimately increase their faith in Jesus Christ and their love for the temple.

Heidi Chapman

Social Media Manager

Heidi Chapman is a self-made woman with many talents. She is the social media specialist for Meridian Magazine, creating their photo-quotes and General Conference memes. She has a great love for missionaries and sharing the gospel and is founder of Missionary Mommas on Facebook with 22,000 followers. Most recently she has become the social media specialist for the Wilford Woodruff Papers Project. She is excited to help bring Wilford Woodruff's testimony and experiences to life! She loves the gospel and early mornings, which is probably why she was called to be an early morning seminary teacher. She is a wife, mother to three children, and grandma (Mommalita) to 2 cute boys. Heidi loves to cook, bake, hike and spend time in the backyard with her Doodle and chickens!
