Happy New Year from The International Center

During the 50th year of our organization, your support helped us fulfill our mission: to serve as a catalyst to inform, convene, and connect public private and civic objectives in Indiana. From our Global Leaders’ Lounges to the special 50th International Citizen of the Year event, 2023 was a year to remember. Thank you so much for celebrating The International Center’s 50th anniversary.

With the coming of the new year, The Center is entering an exciting chapter in our history. We are committed to maintaining momentum and ensuring a lasting impact on our community for the next half-century and beyond. We eagerly anticipate the opportunities that the future holds and have new and exciting plans for 2024.

We wish you the best in the new year!

Living up to the Mission

The International Center is a catalyst to informconvene and connect public, private and civic global objectives in Indiana.

Last month, we hosted the latest installment of our INTLCXN webinar series, focusing on Indiana's response to the invasion of Ukraine. If you were unable to make it to the live stream, see our latest blog for the recording and more resources.

Our 2023 Cohort of the James T. Morris Global Leadership Series celebrated its graduation last month! This group included a wealth of experience with members representing many sectors, including corporate, education, government, startups, nonprofits, and more. Congratulations to all our participants!

The Center collaborated with multiple stakeholders, including Indianapolis International Airport, Herron School of Art+ Design (IUPUI), Indy Arts Council, and the Fortune Family Foundation, to bring an innovative art project to life. We commissioned Herron student and Indianapolis native artist Brenna McCarty to create a new permanent art installation at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND). McCarty's masterpiece, which was publicly dedicated

in December 2023, is the first permanent art installation at

the airport since the opening of the new terminal in 2008.
