Dear Sharon,
Happy New Year and Happy 2023! While the past couple years have been somewhat challenging, let’s look to the new year with open eyes, big hearts, a smile, and big goals. I love setting new goals for the year. Whether they’re in the form of “resolutions” or just goals to keep in mind, I think that “bettering ourselves” is a great way of looking toward the future. For 2023, I’ll be focusing on living a healthier life. Would you like to join me?
First, I would like to share our feature story: “Our Three Words to Describe the New Year,” which reminds us that these three words are the very essence of the holiday season. Please take the time to read this short article. It comes from the bottom of my heart.
In starting off with something healthy I’ve included the article “My Love for Dandelions,” which really goes into detail about how these so-called weeds help us to deal with many health challenges, especially inflammation in our bodies. Yes…Don’t worry! I’ve included some delicious recipes.
Kudos to our friends in Business to Business for Women who held their November luncheon at the beautiful DoubleTree Hotel in Palm Beach Gardens. Sheila Mains, Founder and Owner of Brownie Brittle, presented a wonderful program: “From Layoff to Payoff.” Taking risks was just a small part of her heartfelt presentation. Sheila shared her amazing life journey with us, and we want to say congratulations to her. Recently, Sheila sold Brownie Brittle. What a magical ending! Thank you, Sheila, for a great program and for sharing your pearls of wisdom.
Our “Business to Business for Women Friendsmas Holiday Luncheon” was one you didn’t want to miss. I’ve included lots of pictures by Sandra Effertz Photography. Thank you, Sandra, for always catching those precious moments.
Last, but never least, please check out “Curtain Up” for the exciting live theatre season planned for the Palm Beaches. Alas! This upcoming season is what we have all been waiting for. Believe me, there are big plans for some fabulous shows!
