A Message from Kip Greenhill, Acting President & CEO

Happy New Year from a wintry Lakeside! All of us on the Lakeside staff hope that 2022 brings you great health, peace, spiritual renewal, and happiness.

I continue to be impressed by the work of the Lakeside team as they collaborate to plan the 2022 summer season with quality programs, religious and spiritual experiences, healthy recreational opportunities and extraordinary guest experiences, along with the tranquil Lakeside culture. It is a privilege to work with this talented team.

Special appreciation goes to the many who stepped forward in 2021 to support Lakeside financially and through hours of volunteer service. Click below for the full message.

The Board will depend upon Kip's steady, experienced leadership for the next few years. Our Association Board and Kip commit to engage the community and to work closely together to fulfill the vision of Lakeside as a Chautauqua community dedicated to Christian values and cultural excellence, nurturing mind, body, and spirit.

From the Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation
Thank You!

As we kick off the new year, we are grateful for your support throughout 2021 and on#GivingTuesday. We raised a total of $350,000 on #GivingTuesday to directly support your favorite Chautauqua programs and experiences. Thank you for enhancing the lives of your friends and family through your generosity to Lakeside. The Chautauqua experience at Lakeside is only possible through the community’s dedicated philanthropic support.

Lakeside’s fiscal year ends on March 31, 2022. To date, approximately $845,000 has been raised out of the $1 million fiscal year goal, including funds raised on #GivingTuesday.

"The Chautauqua experience at Lakeside is not inexpensive, so every revenue stream, including charitable giving, is crucial to the overall operations and success of our community," said Cindy Mahl, homeowner and Lakeside Association Board, finance chair. "$1 million is the minimum amount needed just so our season can take place."

There is still time to make a difference and help Lakeside reach its $1 million goal. To make a charitable, tax-deductible contribution to enhance and maintain the area you love most at Lakeside, visit lakesideohio.com/today or call 419.798.4461, ext. 246. Together, let’s make Lakeside the best it can be!
