Reminder: Recording sales calls still required
Don’t forget to keep recording and archiving your sales calls in order to comply with CMS’s 2023 final rule. This includes video calls performed over platforms like Zoom. Per the Rule, if a client does not consent to recording, you’ll need to arrange to meet face-to-face. Full details on how to comply with this requirement are available here.

Thank you for all helping us all save time and effort while reducing mistakes by submitting applications electronically through our online portal. Fewer than 10% of all the applications we received during AEP were faxed in.
Reminder: Advertising restrictions in place throughout OEP
The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (OEP) is going on now through March 31. Don't forget that neither plans nor field marketing agencies are allowed to run ads targeting Medicare beneficiaries during OEP that encourage them to switch plans. While Medicare beneficiaries can make a one-time plan change during OEP, advertising is strictly prohibited. This does not include advertising to Medicare age-ins, which will continue year round.
Speaking of age-ins…
Don’t forget that our Added Value plan is a great opportunity to earn commissions and help potential members year round with an SEP every quarter. This plan is designed for Medicaid-eligible members who may not be aware that they can get extra benefits by also signing up for Medicare Advantage. You’ll still get a commission, and they’ll get additional coverage at no out-of-pocket cost. It’s a true win-win!
