Olivia Atkin, 2023/2024 ASCM New Haven Chapter President Happy New Year and I hope everyone had a great Holiday season to All Members and Friends of ASCM New Haven Chapter -
Hope this note finds you well. As we are into the Spring of our program year, we are excited to be hosting expert instructor-led certification classes for APICS CPIM, CSCP and CLTD. We have options of instructor led classes both in person or virtually, the flipped Classroom concept (which is where you study at a self-pace but have one on one tutoring from an instructor when you want it), and an option of fully self-study. If you would like to learn more please email our VP of education Chaz at callis.newh@gmail.com We also have a fun virtual PDM coming up in February called student night which is focused on Students and professionals wanting insight navigating the job market and ways to advance your career. This event will be on February 21st at 6pm. We will also be holding a virtual PDM on March 13th at 6pm on the Leadership vs. Management: A Comparison & Contrast, as well as an event on April 14th on quality, and an event on May 8th to end the spring events on the topic of Reading body Language-In Person & Electronic!
This past fall we have had some great events and discussions. Some of which included a trivia night (Congrats to the top 5 individuals who ranked), we had great discussions about different jobs within the supply chain over arching industry, and some great networking opportunities. It was great seeing everyone at the events and getting to know some of you on a more personal level.
I am personally excited to continue to see the growth of our chapter as well as the involvement. One thing I have personally loved witnessing on top of everything is the friendship our members have built.
