Pastoral Transitions:

Barry Wong resigned as Lead Pastor at Redemption Church, Vancouver, and will conclude his role on April 30.
Nathan Ball resigned as Lead Pastor at Saddleback Community Church, Nakusp, and will conclude his role on January 29.
James Kelly has been appointed as GlobalEd Institute Regional Representative with Mission Global in Thailand. He starts in his role on February 1.
Christine Kelly has been appointed as a Global Worker in Thailand with Mission Global. She starts in her role on February 1.
Free Daniels resigned as the Assistant Pastor at Delta Pentecostal Church. She will conclude her role on January 29.

Momentum, BCYD’s annual Church Planting and Multiplication conference is only a few weeks away! We gather every year to celebrate new church plants, satellites, and missional initiatives while seeking to inspire the next wave of church planters in our network. We are excited to announce that our speaker for MOMENTUM Conference is Ben Karuhije!

Ben is the Lead Pastor of Cities Church and has served in various ministry roles for over 20 years, beginning with children’s ministry in his early teens. He led the launching of Cities Church in Brandon where he pastors, and now also oversees the development of Cities Church Winnipeg, launching in 2023. He is a revivalist at heart and believes in the future of the Canadian Church. Conference schedule, hotel information, and more are available on the Events page on our website. What is ReGroup?

Regional Church Leadership Seminars provide leadership training to your entire team: pastors, deacons, church administrators, lay-leaders, worship leaders, greeters, team leaders, youth/young adult pastor, children and preteen pastors or serve with other volunteers within the local church setting. Everyone is welcome!

General Sessions and specialized elective sessions will be facilitated that address specific issues relating to church leadership, multiplication, revitalization, care, and governance.

Kids Church Library Mission Videos

Kids Church has created several Missions Videos that are tied to their curriculum Who Is the Holy Spirit?, highlighting to kids what the Holy Spirit is doing around the world today. Not only that, but they can also be used as a standalone on Family Sundays, Missions Sundays, and in Kids Church to highlight missions. Our prayer is that children are inspired to pray, give, and maybe one day – GO!

Master’s Degree programs at Summit Pacific College

Apply today for our Spring 2023 intake

The Master of Arts in Theology and Spiritual Leadership equips pastors, lay leaders, and interested individuals in the church and marketplace contexts with spiritual leadership competencies rooted in biblical and theological knowledge.

The Master of Arts in Youth Ministry focuses on practical training in youth ministry with a significant focus on spiritual formation and allows for flexibility between theology and leadership. This program is targeted toward pastors who are working in a significant youth ministry role.

Both programs are delivered in person and online via video conferencing. These programs will be an engaging experience with world-class instructors and a diverse group of peers from across the country.

The Master’s degree can be completed while in full-time ministry or work.

We are now accepting applications for our Spring 2023 intake.
