Dune Grass Planting Results

This fall with help from over 450 volunteers we planted 200,000 dune grass plants, 100 beach plum trees, and 1,000 golden rod plants.

Guest Column: Year Round Luck

Lucky me, I live here year round. I am indeed fortunate.  

I live four blocks from the entrance to Island Beach State Park, one of the most beautiful places on the eastern seaboard. 
Several times a week my wife and I walk the beach into the Park's northern natural area.

Friends of Island Beach past president, Pat Vargo, of Bayville, died Dec. 1.

Pat, thank you very much for your years of dedication and hard work for the Friends. You will be missed. Our condolences to your family and friends.
