Dear Friends, Elaine Beckwith

Gallery artist and friend Janet McKenzie will present  the upcoming Nobel Lecture at Memorial Church in Cambridge.   This is a great honor for Janet and another  milestone in her pilgrim's path.

For those in the Boston/Cambridge area, I hope that this talk and art experience might provide a time for healing and peace after a truly difficult week.

Wishing you well,
 Elaine

Janet McKenzie, Oil on Panel:
"The Adored"

"The Adored", a recent painting by Janet McKenzie, is a haunting image of one who loves and is loved.  Adoration is an act of devotion and worship, and implies the perfection available to each us in the humble imperfection of our humanity.  McKenzie's work is a moving testament to the frailty of our human condition and to the strength of the Spirit if we allow it to work within us.
