Play those Instruments!

Members of the High School band came to Shepard Hills to demonstrate to our 4th graders the different types of instruments they can choose to play in 5th grade. They had the opportunity to ask a lot of questions, and even hear songs from the students. A couple of the high schoolers even went to Shepard Hills! They will get to try 3 different instruments before they make their decision. Thank you Mr. Brandon for organizing such a real life experience on how instruments and music make a difference in our lives.

The incentive for January was students of the month got to turn their teacher into a snowman by wrapping them in toilet paper. Not only did the students have fun, but the teachers had just as much fun turning Mrs. Booth into a snowman as well. Here is the first grade team with Mrs. Booth.
