Happy Monday!
This last weekend was busy with fun. We started it off with Friday’s Parent’s Night Out where the kids had pizza and games and our parents had the opportunity to fellowship together.
Sunday’s service, we began our Everything is Awesome sermon series, where Marty spoke on the importance of looking at the foundation of our spiritual life and inviting us to have an open heart and mind to look deeper into our beliefs.
In both services, we had blessings of the backpacks where we were able to pray over the teachers and students to wish them bravery, success, and motivation for the new school year.
We were blessed to share communion together, enjoy beautiful worship, and the opportunity to hear more about our community outreach partnership with Yeager elementary and how we can help!
Between services, we had Pancake Sunday where some of the fathers generously volunteered to cook breakfast and perform the Bible story of creation.
That night, our youth gathered for a night of Oikos— where we had a full upstairs of worship and community.
