Mosquito Awareness and the Zika Virus
Compliments of  Northwest Exterminating

Education and awareness are important in how to react to the current threats. The Zika virus is related to yellow fever, encephalitis, dengue, and West Nile. The first human case was noted in 1954 in Nigeria; however, in 2015, a large outbreak was documented in Brazil. Father's Day in Atlanta

Atlanta has no shortage of great activities going on this year for Father's Day weekend. There is something for everyone, whether you are a car show enthusiast or a sports fan. For example, the  College Football Hall of Fame is offering free admission to all dads with the purchase of one regular priced ticket.

If sporting events make you feel like a fish out of water, no problem! Check out "Oceans and Autos", a car and motorcycle show taking place at the Georgia Aquarium all weekend long. There is a variety of fun out there for families of all ages!

Put board work away and make some memories this weekend!

Considering New Flooring?

Here's what you need to know!
Compliments of Willis Towers Watson Insurance

Designing a new common area is one of the most fun and rewarding jobs a board can participate in; however, in all the excitement it is easy to put aesthetics ahead of function. Unfortunately, slip and falls in common areas represent one of the most significant insurance risks an association faces. This article reminds everyone to put safety first when making flooring decisions. We recommend consulting your insurance experts for advice before making an costly changes.

  From Good to Great!

Principles for
Community Association Success

With Treasurer Training fast approaching, we thought a reminder of all the community association basics might be in order, especially for those properties with new board members. Compliments of CAI, the Community Association Institute, the attached article does a wonderful job of highlighting roles and responsibilities for community leaders, board members and homeowners.
