JUNE 2020 Newsletter
Southern Industrial Contractors recently completed a project for the world's largest
natural soda ash mine located in the Rocky Mountains. Southern Industrial Contractors' scope of work involved civil construction for the replacement of a new Heat Exchanger for the plant. More expansions will occur at this facility in 2020 and includes new
evaporators, new centrifuges, new steam tube dryers, a new caustic clarifier, and a new
cooling tower which will increase soda ash production by 750,0000 tons per year.
Southern Industrial Contractors was proud to be a part of the construction team
for the recent upgrades to a carbon black facility located in the southwestern
United States region. Southern Industrial Contractor's scope of work included the
sitework and concrete foundations for a new thermal oxidizer, new ammonia tank,
new heat exchanger, new SCR and electrical building, and a new CMS shelter.
