Today is the first day of our Extended School Year program. 

Thanks to your support at our Legacy Gala, 16 students can attend this summer programming for the first time. A portion of the money raised through our Legacy Gala’s Fund A Need covers their tuition fees and transportation.

Thank you for providing them not only with the opportunity to continue learning over the summer, but also for creating those summer camp memories that will last a lifetime.

"The John Paul II Center is a huge part of Julianna's world. It's where she has friends. It's where she is accepted, included, challenged and appreciated. The excitement she feels every day going to school is why we have tried very hard to send her to ESY in the summer. However, the cost has been challenging in past years. We had to pick and choose which weeks we could afford for her to attend ESY, and explain to her why she had to be home while the school was open. Having her be able to attend ESY as a result of your gift is a blessing that many might not understand. Instead of being without friends in the summer, she can laugh, play and learn with her peers. Instead of having to wait for months to get back to the one place outside of home where she feels completely free, she can look forward to going to school every day that it is open.
