Indiana Choice Scholarships for 2024-25
This spring, after the 2024-25 tuition is set, all registered families will be emailed information about Indiana Choice Scholarships for 2024-25. It will be a similar email to what was sent for this school year. It will include the family income guidelines.

Parents will be asked to reply "Yes" or "No" as to whether they qualify or not based on the income guidelines. If parents reply "Yes", they will be asked to submit a copy of their 2023 Federal tax return to verify household size and income. The school uses this information to complete the online application for the family.

For now, there is nothing that you need to do. We will not let you miss this information. We will email you again if we do not get a "Yes" or "No" with the first email.

Thanks,
Karen Haas

KINDERGARTEN
Mrs. Bean's Kindergarten Smarties ended their Math Unit on 3-Dimensional shapes by creating their own from Play-Doh. They identified, described, and created spheres, cones, cubes, and cylinders.
SECOND GRADE
Mrs. Barber’s class got stranded on an island. They had to make their own rain hat. Check out their creative ideas.
THIRD GRADE
Star of the Week
Anthony and Asher
MIDDLE SCHOOL
8th grade has been covering environmental impacts on water and the negative impacts of ocean pollution. To model the effects pollution has on marine life, the students had to save their marine animal with only their elbows. This is to show how hard it would be for marine animals to get free of our trash without human help. It’s important to make sure we dispose of trash properly to ensure it doesn’t end up in our oceans!
Eighth grade was lucky to have a guest teacher in religion, Fr. Tom! He came in for a few classes to teach a unit about The Lord's Prayer. It sure was a treat having him back in the classroom!
Learn, Serve, Lead, Succeed... Beyond JPII

Camila and her family are so excited to that she will continue her playing career in Bowling Green.

KNIGHT CAFE

Greetings from the cafeteria! We have an exciting announcement - beginning next week on Monday, October 2, students will have another option for a daily entre! In addition to having the option of the main menu item or a chicken sandwich, students will now be able to order an Uncrustable peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich as one of the daily choices. We hope students enjoy this new option!

-Please note, each lunch account is a debit account, not a credit account. Any accounts in arrears of $20 or more will need to bring a sack lunch. Please refer to the JPII Student Handbook in regards to this policy.

-"If a negative balance occurs the parent/guardian will be asked to send a sack lunch for their
child." Page 38 Appendix B

-To add money to your child's lunch account, please send a check to the school office. Please note, only one check per family is needed. Lunch accounts are shared amongst siblings. Be sure to write the name(s) of your student(s) in the memo line of the check.

-Each lunch account is required to maintain a $20 balance. Student lunches are $3.25/day or $16.25/week, per student- not including any extra entrees or milk.

Please register your student on the EZSchoolPay App to monitor your student's balance! Negative balance slips will not be sent home weekly.
