Meet Fort Lauderdale

Mayoral Candidate Jim Lewis

Jim Lewis, a 36 year resident of Fort Lauderdale is running for Mayor in the November 2024 election.

Jim, a graduate from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in public administration also holds a Law Degree from Stetson University, College of law (1980) and has practiced law in Fort Lauderdale primarily in criminal defense. He previously served as assistant State Attorney and Special Prosecutor for former Governor Bob Graham, Assistant Statewide Prosecutor in Florida’s Attorney General’s office and currently serves as an Adjunct Law Professor at Nova Southeastern University.

BULK PICKUP THIS THURSDAY!

The Bulk Trash Pickup Program features collection of large household items and tree trimmings, up to 10 cubic yards in size, for residential customers. Items accepted for bulk trash pickup include: appliances, furniture, carpet, mattresses, and toys. Please do not place tires in bulk piles.

Bulk trash should not be put out for collection more than 24 hours before your collection day.
