Awards to Future Gen Z Leaders!

JFS of Greenwich serves hundreds of children across Fairfield County through our behavioral health programs and refugee resettlement services. Young volunteers are integral to these programs, because of their unique ability to connect to their peers.

JFS Gen Z Future Leaders have a special capacity to engage vulnerable youth. They are selflessly helping these children and are also exemplary role models for their peers, demonstrating the impact of intention and empathy at any age.

Please join us on Thursday, May 2nd at our Spring Celebration to honor these three young people who have exhibited extraordinary compassion, integrity and creativity, while positively impacting the lives of children! Click here to sign up today!

Congratulations to:

is an ESL Buddy to two Congolese refugee children, working with them on reading, interactive games, and socialization.

JFS of Greenwich Meets with Senator Chris Murphy

JFS staffers recently joined members of the Haitian-American community for a round table discussion with U.S. Senator Chris Murphy. The session was moderated by Diana Revolus, CFO of the Haitian-American Collaborative. The conversation covered the harrowing journey Haitians make to the United States, and the disparity in funding between different humanitarian parole programs.

JFS of Greenwich proudly advocated for the families served through the Haitian Humanitarian Parole program. We are grateful to Senator Murphy for listening to the concerns of those closest to the issue with the goal of imparting meaningful change on Capitol Hill.

Thank You to the UJA-JCC Teen Changemakers!

The mission of the UJA-JCC Teen Changemakers is to raise funds for charitable organizations locally and worldwide, guided by Jewish values and ethics. They recently presented their grant recipients with checks, celebrating the work of each nonprofit agency. JFS of Greenwich is honored to have been selected as a grant recipient this year. Funds will go to our summer camp program for the children of our resettlement program. A huge thank you to the Teen Changemakers!
