Market Updates

• Office demand in Boston is up more than 44% since November 2022, due mostly to larger tenants coming back to the market and increased demand for midsized spaces. Additionally, over 83% of under construction office space to be finished by the end of 2024 is preleased. 
• Office demand in San Francisco increased 10.2% in the second quarter of 2023 compared with the first quarter, driven in part by an influx of new AI startups, according to data from real estate tech firm VTS. 
• Chicago saw an 18% increase in hotel occupancy and 27% increase in hotel revenue during this year's Lollapalooza festival. This corresponded with the event's 15% increase in attendance compared to last year.
