Seasonal schedule starts Sept. 12

SURRY COUNTY — The Jamestown-Scotland Ferry (JSF), operated by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), will begin following the fall/winter/spring operating schedule starting Tuesday, Sept. 12.

The JSF has been operating on the summer schedule since May 25 to help

accommodate the increase in ferry passengers during the summer travel season.
