I am delighted to share that last weekend, on June 15th, 2024, we officially kicked-off the planning for JAINA Convention 2025. The event, held at the Jain Center of Metropolitan Chicago, marked an energetic start to our efforts in organizing what promises to be a momentous event.

First and foremost, I extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Jain Society of Metropolitan Chicago - led by Pragnesh Shah, the President and Vipul Shah, the Chairman, for hosting the event. JSMC's warm hospitality, delicious meals, beautiful decorations, and excellent audio/video arrangements made the event special and memorable. 

The meeting commenced with divine blessings and a Mangalik Pravachan from Dr. Acharya Lokesh Muniji, setting a spiritually uplifting tone. We are grateful for his presence and guidance as we embark on this journey. Following this, JSMC President Mr. Pragnesh Shah and JAINA President Mr. Bindesh Shah warmly welcomed the attendees.

The kick-off meeting was well-attended, with five JAINA past presidents, 27 JAINA Convention Board members, JSMC Executive Committee and Board of Trustees and numerous dignitaries and leaders and volunteers from JSMC and JAINA. Their presence and support underscore the importance of this convention and the collective effort behind it. 

Our Co-conveners, Vipul Shah and Jignesh Jain, provided a brief overview of the various events, cultural shows, and keynote speakers planned for the convention. Their dedication and hard work are evident in the exciting lineup they have put together, promising an enriching and memorable experience for all attendees.

We are excited to announce that the theme for the JAINA Convention 2025 is:

"Unity in Diversity: A Path to Peace"

After over a month of discussion and a poll on various suggestions, this theme was chosen. Inspired by the Jain saying “Parasparopagraho Jīvānām,” it reflects our goal of creating a peaceful and harmonious coexistence. We want to make sure every voice is heard, every tradition is celebrated, and everyone feels included. Our aim is to highlight the rich diversity within the Jain community and show how our differences connect us rather than divide us.

We are thrilled to announce the new logo for the JAINA Convention 2025! We received an overwhelming response to our call for designs, with over 100 submissions from more than 50 talented artists. After careful consideration by the Conveners, Rahul Jain’s Marketing team, and the Convention Board, we have selected a logo designed by Jaya Parmar (LA). Her design truly captures the spirit and vision of our convention. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the artists for their incredible creativity and participation.
