J'Adore Paris!

It is easy to understand why Paris is called the City of Love and Lights when you visit. There is a relaxed lightness in the air, a sense that time is slower, and that it is more important to have a cup of coffee with a friend than to rush to an appointment.

On our recent trip to Paris, my husband and I fell in love with everything about this special city. We stayed in a small airbnb flat in Marais, where we felt like locals. We dined at different cafes every day, and laughed when we only had to say ‘onion soup’ when ordering...

3 exciting project highlites

Rhode Island New Construction

After working on this project for almost 3 years, we are in the final home stretch. This vacation home on the water was built like a 'boat on land'. Specific details have been addressed such a custom millwork and lighting.

The key to a multi-million dollar project like this is to have an excellent Team in place, weekly communication, up to date schedules, and detailed over site on the financials. Its the only way to run a smooth project of this size and to help the clients feel listened to, and in control of their own project to make it as positive an experience as possible.

Radiant heated flooring under the tiles.

Kitchen will have quartz countertops and a wood countertop from the kitchen into eating area, for a smooth transition.

French Doors allow for the light to come through by the front entrance, but act as a barrier for cooler temps.

Bronxville Basement Renovation

Our basement renovation is almost complete! Just a few punch list items for the contractor. We are still waiting on a few furniture pieces and accessories to arrive.

We love the way the shiplap looks on the walls behind the artwork and TV. And our custom quartz countertops were perfectly fabricated around the newly boxed in columns.

The shiplap looks amazing behind the artwork and above the countertops and deep blue cabinet color.

Greenwood Lake Renovation

We are so excited for the progress on our new Design-Build project.

This lake house has been in the family since the 1970's. With their growing family, it was time to make some much needed changes to better utilize the space and capitalize on the fantastic lake views.

Our biggest decision has been to remove the wall in between the living area and the interior sun porch, adding a knee wall to separate the two spaces. It give is a more open airy feeling, still allowing for lots of seating.

The kitchen, laundry room, main bathroom and primary bedroom suite will receive a full facelift. We have reconfigured the space for better flow, without pushing out the exterior walls.

We are currently in the process of completing the construction drawings to pull the permit, and then move onto the next exciting steps!
