For Spontaneous Fun-Seekers

Enjoy an outdoor adventure that has something for the entire family.

Good morning, sunshine!

Start your day trip right with a bite to eat at longtime local favourite and community supporter, Deja Vu Diner, with good old fashioned home cooked food.

Choose your adventure

After filling up, get ready to enjoy a day out at the beautiful Island Lake Conservation Area, with year-round activities for all ages like kayaking, canoeing, ice skating, fishing and biking. Little ones will also love exploring and rock climbing in the natural playground.

Break for lunch and take-home treats

When it’s time to take a break, enjoy some lunch at Bluebird Cafe and Grill, a popular spot on Orangeville’s quaint downtown strip, Broadway. But save a little space for the cornucopia of goodies a few steps away — you’ll get enveloped in the scent of pure chocolate as you walk into The Chocolate Shop and be sure to pick up a box of freshly made cookies at Wicked Shortbread to take home.

Energy to burn?

Let your kids play at Harvey Curry Park or Fendley Park. Both have an awesome playground and splash pad. For dinner, take a seat at the Taphouse Craft Beer + Kitchen for some tasty pub grub.

She started making her own soap in 2013 and today, her line up of natural, handmade products has grown to include skin care, bath and body products, laundry supplies, essential oils, and more. Bridlewood Soaps are crafted right here in Orangeville at 450 Richardson Road. You can shop the full range of products at that same location or visit their booth at the Orangeville Farmers’ Market on Saturdays.
