From types of costumes to crowds, foods/allergies and of course, continued COVID precautions, now is the time to plan. We've compiled a few resources that may be helpful:
Is YOUR Teal Pumpkin Ready?
The Teal Pumpkin Project's goal is to make trick-or-treating more inclusive and safer for children with food allergies. By placing a teal pumpkin on your stoop, it lets trick-or-treaters know you have non-food treats that are safe.
Be Safe and Smart
October is Fire Safety Month, and October 3-9 is Fire Prevention Week. The most important thing you can do for fire safety is to have working smoke and CO detectors in your home. Be sure to change all batteries twice yearly. An easy way to remember is to change them each time we change our clocks.
