Voting in CT just got easier

Friends,

As we approach the most critical election this November, it is now easier than ever for you to cast your vote.

For the first time in CT, you will be able to vote early. No longer will childcare or job obligations prevent you from being able to exercise your vote. Following a referendum in 2022, Connecticut has joined 47 other states that allow voters more than one day to cast their ballot.

This year Early Voting is available October 21 to November 3. 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Extended hours 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Tuesday October 29 and Thursday October 31.

Stamford:

Vote early at the Government Center Cafeteria, 888 Washington Boulevard.

Greenwich:

Vote early at Greenwich Town Hall, 101 Field Point Road.

You can still vote in person at your regular polling location on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5th from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.

And if none of the above work, you may qualify to vote by absentee ballot.

Voting rights on the ballot this year

A referendum question on the ballot in November will expand voting rights by allowing any voter who requests one to vote by absentee ballot.

Making voting more accessible was a priority of my campaign in 2022. And as a member of the General Elections and Administration Committee, I am proud that we have made voting more convenient and accessible to CT residents, while ensuring that our elections remain safe and secure.

This election will determine whether we continue to move forward and protect our freedoms, including the right to vote. I hope I can count on your vote, whether you vote early, by absentee ballot or on Election Day!

If you’d like to join my campaign, I'd love to have you. Volunteer and donate here. And if you can’t spare the time, then just make a note to vote this November.

Please stay hydrated and cool this week,
