Okay, this is it. Your last chance to make a difference this election. Election Day is a mere 4 days away and with so much at stake on the ballot, we can't afford to have you miss out! 

 

Santa Barbara County has the opportunity to pass one of the most significant environmental protection measures we've ever seen with Measure P to ban fracking and other high-intensity forms of oil extraction that pose a threat to our precious, limited water supply. Oil companies have poured in nearly $8 million to defeat the initiative so they can expand their drilling in Santa Barbara County but you and I still hold the power in determining the outcome of this election. 

 

That's why we need you to vote YES on Measure P and multiply the power of that vote by helping us talk to other voters this weekend. 

 

Also, my Assembly District sits in two of the most competitive Congressional Districts in the country and we need to do everything we can to push voters to go to the polls on Election Day to send Lois Capps and Julia Brownley back to Congress. 

 

And right below my District, lies one of the most competitive Assembly Districts in the state. We have a real chance to send Jacqui Irwin to serve alongside me in the Assembly and give Ventura County the representation it deserves but in order to accomplish all this, we need you! 

 

I'll be out there knocking on doors and calling voters all weekend and I hope you will be joining me. 

 

In Santa Barbara County, I'll be walking to get out the vote for Measure P and Lois Capps on Saturday at 10am in Santa Barbara at the Dem Party Headquarters, 114 E. Haley, and at 1pm at my own home in Carpinteria, 4941 Nipomo Drive. 

 

On Sunday, I'll be walking in Ventura County for Julia Brownley at 10am at the California Democratic Party headquarters, 2855 Johnson Drive, Suite X. Then will be walking for Jacqui Irwin with special guest, the Speaker of the Assembly Toni Atkins, at 1:30pm at Jacqui's headquarters in Thousand Oaks, 1414 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd, Suite 103.
