Whether you're a seasoned golf player or just starting your golf journey, there's something for everyone at the City's golf courses in Boca Raton. Come out and enjoy the longer days and milder temperatures this spring and early summer - and take advantage of some great programming coming up...men's summer league, summer camp for the kids, a new program for veterans, and lessons are all available.

New! Veterans Program
The City is proud to host a new program that introduces veterans and active-duty military to the game of golf, enhancing their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. Through First Tee, veterans and active-duty military will be able to register for 6–8-week programs that pair them with PGA Professionals for training, practice, friendship and open play at the Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club.

The next session starts May 2 and will meet every Thursday at 4:30pm. Registration required by calling the Golf Shop at 561-367-7000.

Meet KAITLYN CROSS
Next time you are playing at Red Reef Golf Course, say hello to Kaitlyn if you see her. She is the new Golf Operations Supervisor at the course. Kaitlyn's background in golf is quite impressive. She played collegiate golf, has 14 years of experience in golf communities across Florida, is a PGA Associate and will soon be a Class A golf professional. We are lucky to have her join our team!

Take a Peek
As part of its continued investment into upgrades at the Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club, the City will host an Open House for the community to view design plans for the renovation of the clubhouse. Come see the future of the facility.

A Host of Happy Hours
SW Grill at the Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club serves golfers and locals with an array of fantastic food and drinks for lunch, dinner, brunch and of course, happy hour. Some of their specials include:
Taco Tuesdays: $7 margaritas and $3 tacos with steak, chicken or shrimp all day.
Whiskey & Wings Wednesday: $7 Jim Beam drinks and $8 for 6 jumbo wings until 9pm.
Martini Fridays: $6 martinis until 9pm.
SW Grill is located on the ground floor of the clubhouse and is open to the public. View menus for lunch, brunch and dinner.

Golf Summer Camp: June 3 - August 16
Beginner and Intermediate
Junior golfers can improve their skills through the US Kids Player Pathway Program, including full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, knowledge and scoring. Snacks and drinks provided for half-day students and lunch will be provided for full-day students. Call (561) 367-7000 to register.

Facility Improvements
You may have noticed more changes at the Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club. Ongoing improvements are taking place in the clubhouse and out on the course.

In Progress: The installation of all new hurricane proof windows and doors at the clubhouse continues. Thank you for your patience as the front entrance remains closed. Please continue to use the north and south entrances.

Course Refreshments: Check out the new bar cart, complete with water, sodas, beer, cocktails and snacks. GPS locator and request function for bar cart coming soon!

Future Play: Foliage along the entire south border of the course has been cut back, which will allow for shaded areas of the course greens to grow and extend play area. Look for the expanded greens over the next 6 months to a year.
